Jordan Brand is continuing its celebration of the Chinese zodiac in the year of the dragon.  We posted images of this forthcoming release and now we have a release date on when you can add this to you collection, if you don't sleep.  The black and white version of the AJ2012 will hit retail on March 15, retailing at $223.

Yeah its ok, keep sleeping.  Keep overlooking the Air Jordan 2012.  Keep saying to yourself, "That shoe is ugly." Keep saying that you will not pick up a pair of this year's version of the shoe.  Just remember one thing, Jordan was drafted third in the 1985 NBA Draft because people slept on him, because people didn't believe in him, or his abilities, and did not think he had what it takes to be the best.

The black and white version of the YOTD AJ 2012 is as good looking as the blue and yellow one. However with the black and white colorway it kind of gives it a oxford look resembling the shoes that we used to wear as a kid.  Now some of you may be embarrassed that you wore those in school, but Jordan Brand is jumping out in front to show us that class always goes before style.  However they are stylish.  The AJ2012 black & white YOTD features a black upper using tumbled leather on the toe and heel.  Black is also used with the nubuck underlay.  White is used side panels and branding throughout, and the shoe is finished with carbon fiber paneling on the midfoot.

The Nike Zoom Kobe 7 has been interesting this year.  We have seen the collection of predator themed shoes that has hit the shelves, and it has come with mixed reviews from sneakerheads.  To date, the most successful selling of the animal themed shoes has been the Christmas release "Cheetah."  However, this forthcoming June release the "Dart Frog" will be on the list of many people in the sneaker community.  This colorway is comes in the Lakers away colors using purple as the base, along with black and yellow infused on the upper.  Black covers the laces, tongue, heel, and inner lining.  The shoe is completed with a dart frog on the heel.

What speaks class and style.  If you know anything about the history of Jordans, you will now that the cleaner the toe is the more Jordan likes it.  Michael was always a fan of Italian shoes which normally fashions a clean toe.  With the AJ2012 Jordan Brand staying true to its routes chose to go with another classic look using the style designs of wingtip shoes, to add and element of style to this year's model.  The initial colorways that hit the shelves was grey/volt, and university blue/grey, but now it looks like we will get the more traditional colors to wrap up this month.

We will not get into all of the technical aspects of the shoe, but what we will say is that the "Q" model is the low top shoe which you will see pictured below, and the "E" is the hightop which is pictured above.  Both shoes are priced the same and come with multiple insoles which allow you to "choose your flight," so it would make since that if the shoe is the same price high or low, you may as well go with high and get more bang for your buck.

Is it possible? Will we see the return of the LeBron SVSM to retail? It maybe possible as we are getting images of the SVSM PE today, of course which is the high school that James attended.  Both the SVSM and Christ the King PE's were absent with the Nike LeBron 8 series for reasons unknown, but if it returns this year to retail a lot of LeBron collectors will be happy.  This model sticks with the home colorway using forest green on the upper with white hits on the outer.  Gold hits are found on the swoosh and throughout, and "Irish" is found bold on the tongue.
